Head of the development direction of turret systems in JobHunt

An innovative MilTech company that creates high-tech hardware solutions is looking for a Head of Turret Systems Development - a leader who will provide control over product development and implement innovative solutions.

Project is a highly dynamic automated turret platform for kinetic interception of air targets. This is a full-fledged robotic short-range anti-aircraft complex, which has no direct analogues in its class in terms of reaction speed and accuracy. We are creating a fundamentally new product "from scratch", which is ahead of the market in terms of the effectiveness of intercepting maneuverable targets.

The technical essence of the challenge is a deep engineering synthesis of mechatronics, optics and artificial intelligence. The task involves the design of precision drives with high angular velocity, the development of a weapon stabilization system during firing, and the implementation of computer vision algorithms for automatic detection, tracking, and engagement of targets. All engineering solutions are based on the principles of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) - the transformation of complex robotics into a technological, reliable and scalable serial product.

This project is just the beginning of your journey within the company. Our R&D roadmap is written for years ahead. The successful completion of this project paves the way for new classes of robotic ground platforms (UGVs) and intelligent perimeter defense systems. We guarantee a constant flow of strategic-level engineering challenges that will be no less complex, important and technologically exciting than the current task. We are building a team for a decade.

The main goal of the position: transformation of the project from the stage of experimental models to a serial, engineering mature product. Management of the full cycle of R&D (mechanics, electronics, embedded) and preparation for mass production.

Desired competencies:

• Experience in the field of development and implementation of complex engineering solutions.
• Experience in management of technical projects and teams.
• Advanced level of proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar.
• Knowledge of design standards KD (ESKD/ISO), DFM principles and preparation of the product for the series.

Working trips within the country for testing and meetings with partners are planned.
