Head of the logistics operational development department in Avrora, multimarket

Aurora Multimarket is a modern business that started in 2011 in the Poltava Region. Today, the Aurora Multimarket group of companies has more than 1,600 stores, 4 support offices and 5 logistics hubs in Ukraine. Our Team are more than 16,000 Aurorans who work every day to fulfill Aurora's mission: to improve people's everyday lives by making products for the home and soul accessible.

We are looking for a leader who will be responsible for continuous development logistics operations of the company through change management, project implementation, development of business processes, analytics and formation of internal expertise.

The role involves the coordination of three key blocks:

• Project and change management;
• Development of business processes and staff training;
• Analytics and improvement of operational efficiency.

You will be a key link between logistics, IT, operations and finance, ensuring the systematic development of warehouse logistics.

Key areas of responsibility

1. Coordination of projects and implementation of changes:

- Management of projects for the implementation of new logistics solutions (WMS, TMS, warehouse automation, integration of IT systems, etc.).

- Support of infrastructure changes: opening of new warehouses, reconstruction, changes in the transport network.

- Coordination of cross-functional project teams (logistics, IT, operations, finance, etc.).

- Planning, control deadlines, resources and project results.

2. Development of business processes and training:

- Analysis and improvement of logistics processes throughout the chain: from order acceptance to delivery.

- Development, documentation and maintenance of SOP (standard operating procedures).

- Formation and development of training programs for logistics personnel (onboarding, professional development).

- Participation in the implementation of a culture of continuous improvement (Lean, Kaizen, 5S).

3. Analytics and improvement of operational efficiency:

- Creation and development of a logistics KPI system.

- Analysis of process efficiency, search for bottlenecks and areas for optimization.

- Preparation of regular management reporting (productivity, costs, service level, cost-to-serve).

- Initiation of changes and improvements based on data

Requirements for candidate:

• Higher education in the field of logistics, business administration, IT or a related field;
• Work experience of 2 years or more in change management, logistics or warehouse processes. 
• Experience in implementing a WMS system will be a significant advantage;
• Understanding the principles of warehouse logistics;
• Excellent organizational and communication skills;
• Experience in project management, using Agile/Scrum methodologies will be an advantage.
• The level of English is conversational.
• Readiness for business trips.
