Your key tasks in the position:

Occupational safety, fire safety:

• Organization and coordination of the work of the occupational safety service at the plant.
• Safety control of technological processes (special focus: explosion and fire safety, work in extraction shops, elevator management).
• Assessment of risks at workplaces and implementation of measures to minimize them.
• Organization training of personnel, briefings and trainings according to the plan of localization of emergency situations (PLAS), attestation of workplaces and medical examinations
• Implementation of international safety standards (in accordance with the requirements of ISO 45001 and company policies).
• Investigation of incidents and accidents at the enterprise
• Development and maintenance of documented records in accordance with the requirements of the law and the requirements of ISO 45001                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Environmental protection:
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental legislation (emissions into the atmosphere, water use, waste management).
  • Support of permit documentation and interaction with state authorities.
  • Control of the operation of cleaning equipment
  • Organization of monitoring and laboratory studies of the impact on environment.
  • Preparation of reports.
  • Conducting OH&S training for company employees
  • Conducting internal inspections/audits

To be successful in the position, you will need:

• Higher specialized education (Occupational safety / Ecology / Technical specialty).
• Experience in a managerial position in ecology and OP from 3 years
• In-depth knowledge of Ukrainian legislation on OP and ecology, and also understands the specifics of dangerous production facilities.
• Has experience in auditing (ISO, audits of clients or international financial organizations — IFC/EBRD) - will be a great advantage.
• Ability to argue one's position, conduct a dialogue with auditors bodies and train staff.
