Head of the communications and cyber security group in 217 ob 125 obr ZSU

The 217th separate battalion of the 125th separate brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was formed in Lviv in March 2022. The battalion performs the tasks necessary to ensure the defense and protection of Ukraine against the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. The point of permanent deployment of the battalion is located in the city of Lviv.

Main duties:

• organization of the work of the group of communication and cyber security;

• general control over the state of provision of means of communication and the state of cyber security in the unit;

• staff accounting and material and technical means of communication and cyber security in the unit;

• organization of events for training and training of the personnel of the unit in compliance with protocols and procedures of cyber security, proper use of hardware and software communication;

• direct accountability to the chief of staff of the military unit.

Requirements:< /p>

• suitability for military service in terms of health and moral and psychological qualities;

• professional technical education in the field of radio communication/ network technologies/computer technologies;

• the rank of an officer of the Armed Forces;

• preferable previous experience working with military communication equipment and cyber security;

• good organizational skills;

• line management and team management experience will be an advantage;

• sufficient level of stress resistance;

• readiness to perform tasks in the combat zone;

• experience of previous military service and combat experience will be an advantage.

Conditions:

• official mobilization until the end of the military state or service under the contract of the Armed Forces;

• passing a training course before starting to perform official duties in the absence of service experience in the Armed Forces during the last 10 years for officers or basic general military training for privates and sergeants for a period of 35-40 days with further training to become an officer; if additional professional training is required;

• financial support from UAH 26,200. per month and additional remuneration depending on previous service, assigned tasks and place of service;

• material and property support, including provision of means of personal protection, provision of accommodation, food, medical care during service;

• official annual leave, leave due to family circumstances, assistance in obtaining the status of a participant in hostilities in case of participation in hostilities and other social guarantees in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine.
