Head of sustainable development projects in Ukrnafta

Your main tasks will be:

• interaction with by international organizations and donors — development of sustainable development projects and attracting funding;
• development and support of climate strategy, emission reduction plans and decarbonization measures;
• ensuring compliance of climate approaches with ESRS E1 requirements, EU legislation and international standards;
• assessment of physical and transitional climate risks, participation in climate scenario analysis;
• support of plan development environmental and social actions (ESAP), environmental and social impact assessment (EIA, ESIA), stakeholder engagement plans (SEP), etc.;
• coordination of environmental and environmental mitigation measures;
• cooperation with contractors, consultants and internal divisions regarding climate data;
• support for the integration of climate indicators into the management system and investment decisions;
• participation in the preparation or direct development of internal policies, training programs, organization and conducting of training on environmental and social issues for employees;
• preparation of responses to requests and reports for international financial organizations and donors.

We expect from you:

• higher education in environmental protection, energy or related directions;
• proven work experience in the field of sustainable development, climate policy, decarbonization;
• knowledge of the requirements and standards of IFIs, international approaches to accounting for emissions (GHG Protocol), practicesexperience in data preparation according to ESRS, GRI standards will be an advantage;
• level of English - B2;
• ordered documents, namely the existing military registration document according to current legislation, passport (unexpired) and others.
