• The International Department of the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU) is looking for a manager of strategic cooperation projects and programs to strengthen international partnership with the University of Notre Dame (USA), coordinate joint research initiatives, educational programs, cooperation projects and develop the activities of UCU centers abroad. This position involves management of international programs and projects that contribute to UCU's mission to develop global cooperation and advance strategic initiatives UKU Global 2030. 
• The key activity in this position is cooperation with the Ukrainian Studies Hub (USH), founded by the Institute of European studios named after Nanovik at the University of Notre Dame in partnership with UCU. The center focuses on research and collaborative academic activities, bringing together scholars from Notre Dame and UCU. USH will conduct the following regular activities: a biennial conference, an annual collaborative research project competition, an annual visiting scholar program, and publication of a book series in collaboration with UND Press. The position involves possible business trips within Ukraine and abroad (including to the USA).

Work experience and basic skills:

• Experience in project management or coordination of international projects/programs
• Understanding academic and scientific environment, knowledge of the basics of its functioning and the principles of international cooperation in this area
• Fluency in Ukrainian and in English (at the C1 level). Knowledge of other European languages ​​will be an advantage
• Excellent organizational, communication and analytical skills< /li>
• Experience in finding grant opportunities and writing projects
• Ability to work with financial and reporting documentation
• Ability to work in a team, solve complex tasks and maintain effective communication between partners
• Result orientation, initiative and the ability to solve problems independently

The main ones duties:

• Coordination of the implementation and administration of joint research projects (including the involvement of students as research assistants)
• Search and development of new research projects and areas of cooperation
• Interaction with the leadership of UCU and the Nanovik Institute of the University of Notre Dame regarding new initiatives and priorities
• Searching for platforms for publishing the results of joint research projects (especially in Ukraine and Europe) and supporting the publication process
• Identifying grant opportunities for joint research projects (especially in Ukraine and Europe)
• Help in creating a network of academics and practitioners related to UCU who are interested in cooperation with the Center of Ukrainian Studies.
< li style="font-weight: 400">Coordination of joint activities of students and postgraduates of UCU and the University of Notre Dame
• Support of researchers of the University of Notre Dame in the implementation of research projects related to UCU in Ukraine
• Coordination of work after conferences, events and follow-up activities (maintaining contact with Ukrainian participants)
• Formation of a plan of activities and development of academic and cultural ties of UCU with partners in Great Britain and Poland. Interaction with local offices of UCU.
