Main responsibilities:
- Creation, implementation and development of a specialized software development office as a separate function of the company
- Construction, unification and control of the development processes of software, firmware and software and hardware systems
- Adaptation and application of Stage-Gate, V-model and Agile approaches to R&D projects of the engineering type
- Control of process compliance by internal teams and external contractors
- Setting and control of processes for preparing system and functional requirements, architectural solutions
- Development and implementation of standards documentation and requirements traceability
- Definition and unification of development, testing and management tools (Jira, Confluence, JSM, etc.)
- Integration of development tools with engineering systems (PLM, CAD/CAE)
- Formation of product vision, software development strategy and product roadmap
- Prioritization of functional and technical requirements
- Organization of interaction between teams, business and management
- Time, cost, quality control and technical and organizational risk management
Candidate requirements:
- Higher technical education (computer engineering, automation, system engineering or related areas)
- Experience in the development of embedded systems or software and hardware complexes
- Understanding the architecture of embedded systems and firmware
- Experience with microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, STM32, NXP or similar)
- Knowledge of RTOS (FreeRTOS, VxWorks, QNX) and the principles of real-time systems
- Sure understanding of C/C++ for embedded and system programming
- Understanding of low-level programming (memory, registers, interrupts)
- Experience of working with industrial interfaces and protocols (CAN, Modbus, EtherCAT, UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet)
- Experience of integration of software and hardware parts of the product
- Understanding of embedded system testing processes (unit, integration, system)
- Experience or deep understanding of V-model, Stage-Gate and Agile approaches for hardware-oriented products
- Knowledge of configuration management and engineering change management processes
Desirable (will be an advantage)
- Experience in automotive, agricultural or industrial engineering
- Knowledge of ISO 26262, IEC 61508, SIL / ASIL
- HIL/SIL testing experience
- Knowledge of Model-Based Design or MBSE
- Industrial IoT and Industry 4.0 experience
- In-depth knowledge of Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, JSM), requirements management tools
- Profile certifications (ISO, CSPO/PSPO, etc.)
