Uvoteam is a product IT company that Since 2005, it has been working in the field of EdTech services in the markets of the USA, EU, Asia and South Africa.
Our main goal is to facilitate and optimize the learning process for students from all over the world.
We are currently looking for a Head of SEO who:
- Has relevant experience working with gray niches in English-speaking markets.
- Will be able to validate the SEO strategies of all the team's multisites.
- Can manage a team of up to 20 SEO specialists.
- Understands and analyzes business metrics.
- Will be able to secure positions in the top 3 for the main high-frequency commercial keywords.
- Will be able to increase the visibility of the company's sites for commercial keywords (terms are discussed after analyzing the situation).
- Able to increase sales by attracting more commercial traffic both directly to the main site and through third-party platforms (such as parasitic SEO), with the ability to identify specific targets after analyzing the situation.
Team:
12 SEO specialists including leads, 5 link builders including leads, 6 copywriters including leads, 2 PMs and Operations Manager, Brand Manager .
Tasks and professional competences:
- Development and validation of the SEO strategy and work plan for SEO optimization of the site for the entire team,
- Skills for working with programs , the ability to use/propose new programs for working with the site, mentoring and training of specialists (how to use new tools and find new features (Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Semrush, Serpstat)) ,
- Output parsing skills for specific requests, ability to analyze and use analysis results in work,
- Audit experience. Understand how and why a technical audit is done, evaluate the feasibility of changes that need to be made based on the audit results. Be able to conduct internal and external project audits. Be able to and understand how to perform a technical audit of sites with complex architecture, dynamic sites and their specifics.
- Statistics and analytics analysis : Google. Analytics, Search Console, etc.:
1) The ability to evaluate the quality of search traffic in a section of a site or landing page, taking into account the quality of this page;
2) Be able to use segmentation, create custom reports and understand attribution models;
3) Determination on the basis of the received data of problematic moments of the site, identification of growth points. - Skills of working with internal site linking . Know the definition of internal linking and what it does for the result. Know all types of internal linking, be able to highlight the best ones that give results. Ability to analyze current site linking and identify problematic points.
- On-page optimization. Be able to analyze the top 10-5-3 competitors regarding optimization and updating of meta-tags, features of using additional keywords, the order of using keywords; Be able to find and fix (where necessary) leakslinks in meta tags.
- Skills of working on external site factors . Know at least 10 tactics for building backlinks, be able to highlight 2-3 of the most effective of them (with an example and why he thinks so). Know why to build Tier 2,3 and in what cases it is appropriate and how to measure the result of such a tactic.
- Working with experiments . To be able to highlight a number of actions outside the work plan that will contribute to achieving better results in terms of positions, traffic, CTR of projects, and the site.
- Work on improving, automating and increasing the efficiency of processes. propose process improvements within the team to optimize costs, increase work efficiency. Offer options for automating processes.

- Communicability. Be able to present information simply and clearly, both orally and in writing.
- Responsibility. Understand responsibility for both own and team results.
- Proactivity. Be the initiator of discussions on site optimization, budgets, changes in Google algorithms, and SEO conferences. Validate the ideas of other specialists and their proactive attitude.
- Mentoring skills.
1) Be able to delegate tasks to a large middle/senior team. Check completed tasks according to the established TOR. Transfer experience on tasks that are new and incomprehensible to other specialists.
2) Be able to supervise 15-20 middle/senior employees.
3) Be able to transfer experience in optimizing certain actions.
4) To be able to build and optimize the team's work on the project.
5) Conduct lectures to improve the level of other specialists.
