Head of projects and programs of the Center for the Development of Learning and Teaching in Ukrayinskiy katolickiy universitet

The head of projects and programs of the Center for the Development of Learning and Teaching helps teachers of the Ukrainian Catholic University to work on improving their professional skills and teaching skills by involving them in various professional development programs both within the UCU and and in educational institutions of Ukraine and abroad. 

We are looking for a person who:

• Has work experience in the implementation of educational projects , conducting educational events and trainings, writing grant applications;
• Has knowledge of Ukrainian legislation in the field of higher education and professional development of scientific and pedagogical workers;
• Able to solve problems and administer processes;
• li>
• Proficient in Ukrainian business language and English at the B2 level.
• Loves the academic atmosphere.
• Appreciates the Christian ethos.
• Has the skills of systematic and analytical thinking.
• Able to work on several projects at the same time.
• Open to different tasks and flexible to help colleagues in other areas.
• Attentive to details, independent in work, generates ideas and takes responsibility for the result.
• Able to learn from own experience, as well as accumulate the best domestic and foreign experience and implement it in life.

Functionalduties:

• Formation and organization of the program of advanced scientific training - teaching staff:
• cooperation with university departments,
• analysis of current training programs for their relevance and compliance with the needs of the educational services market,
• control and analysis of results improving the qualifications of scientific and pedagogical workers;
• Development of the system of stimulating teaching (pedagogical) skills;
• Attracting qualified teachers and specialists (experts) to teach in advanced training programs;
• li>Maintenance of the database of agreements on the cooperation of the University with other institutions of higher education of Ukraine on internships and advanced training programs;
• Organization of open educational events on educational topics;
• Generation of project ideas aimed at development in the direction of improving teaching skills at UCU and finding funding;
• Media coverage of information about professional development programs at the university through the university website and other media resources.
