Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU) invites to its team an energetic and responsible specialist for the position ofHead of projects and certification programs of the Faculty of Applied Sciences. Primary responsibilities:

• Communication with the teachers of the educational program: agreeing on the schedule of classes, obtaining student grades, solving extraordinary situations.
• Logistics of guest teachers: booking accommodation and transport tickets.
• Communication with the students of the program: answers to typical questions, solutions to unusual situations.
• Documentary support of the master's program: preparation of orders for enrollment, expulsion, transfer of students, provision of scholarships, etc.
• Enrollment in individual courses of free students.< /li>
• Establishing grades in the system of accounting for students' success.
• Accounting of information about courses (syllabi) and teachers.
• Technical support of the educational process in the educational program: organization and support of classes in classrooms, online and hybrid (mixed) classes.
• Support for the course management system (CMS Moodle): placement of course materials in the system (slides, practical tasks, recorded video lessons).
• Organization and support of additional events from the master's program: webinars, open days, thesis defenses, graduation ceremonies.
• Organization and conduct of the Lviv Data Science Summer School:
  • assistance with the search for teachers and coordination of the course schedule
  • recruiting and selection of participants
  • work on the identity and promotion of the school
  • search and work with sponsors and partners
  • work with volunteers
  • organization of the cultural program of the school
  • technical and documentary support of work processes

Requirements:

• conversational English at a good level
• work experience in institutions of higher education and/or other educational projects will be an advantage
• IT, engineering, mathematics or natural sciences education and/or experience in the IT industry would be an advantage
• experience in social media page administration and/or website administration (such as WordPress) would be an advantage
• willingness to develop in the field of higher education
