Head of PR in Pethouse

My name is Volodymyr, I am the CEO and owner of Pethouse.

We are expanding our marketing team and looking for the best Head of PR who will build and systematically will lead the strategic communications function, be responsible for PR, CSR and influence direction, forming a stable and predictable result for the business.

What will be in your area of responsibility:

• development and implementation of a PR strategy in accordance with the company's business goals;
• formation annual and quarterly PR plan, control of its execution;
• construction and optimization of PR work processes (planning, deadlines, reporting);
• management and development of the PR team;
• ensuring systematic presence of the brand in the media: expert materials, comments, columns, partner projects;
• building and maintaining relations with journalists, bloggers and key partners;
• organization of work with influencers and control of the effectiveness of cooperation;
• management of the company's reputation and implementation of crisis communications;
• communication support of launches, partnerships and CSR initiatives;
• monitoring of the media field, competitors and evaluation of the effectiveness of PR activities;
• management of the PR budget and control of cost effectiveness;
• control of a single tone of voice of the brand.

Our ideal candidate:

• has experience in managing a PR team and building effective work processes;
• has experience in developing and implementing a PR strategy;
• has proven experience in systematic work with the media and bloggers;
• has the skills to prepare and edit PR materials (press releases, articles, columns, comments);
• understands the principles of crisis and reputational communications;
• works with analytical tools (LOOQME, YouScan or similar) and knows how to evaluate the effectiveness of PR activities;
• has experience in budget management and performance control costs;
• thinks strategically, acts systematically and is oriented towards business results;
• has experience in e-commerce, retail or pet industry (will be an advantage).
