Head of IT projects (PMO) in Red Cross Ukraine

The National Committee of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine announces a competition for the position of Head of IT projects

The Red Cross Society of Ukraine is the largest humanitarian organization of Ukraine, which is one of the first to respond to all emergency situations in the country and provides assistance to those who need it the most.

Requirements for the candidate:

• Experience as the head of the IT project office projects
• Experience in managing the development and implementation of ERP and CRM in a cross-functional environment.
• Understanding the fundamentals of the software development cycle (SDLC), project management fundamentals, principles and approaches of Agile methodology.
• Knowledge of approaches to the description of functional requirements.
• Experience with Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, Outlook, as well as Jira, Google Docs.
• Exceptional oral, written and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines both independently and as part of a team.
• Leadership, attention to detail, analytical skills.
• Responsibility for decisions and results.
• Level of mastery in English at a level no lower than Intermediate.
• Ability to make decisions.
• Ability to cooperate with partners/contractors, local organizations.
• Ability to apply non-standard/innovative solutions at work.

Basic Responsibilities:

• Effective management of the project portfolio from start to completion, ensuring the achievement of project goals within the stipulated budget and time constraints;
• Development of a detailed project plan, preparation of project documentation, determination of scope of work, resources, deadlines and budget;
• Plan coordination with key stakeholders and the project team;
• Selection and formation of the project team. Allocation of tasks and definition of roles in the team;
• Constant monitoring of work progress in accordance with the plan;
• Identification of possible risks and development of strategies for their management;
• Providing regular reporting on the status of the project to stakeholders and management;
• Effective communication within the team and external stakeholders parties;
• Tracking the scope of the project and managing requirements on the customer’s side;
• Interaction with development teams in the process of planning sprints, evaluating the results obtained;
• Supporting users, conducting training, building a stable channel of communication between the divisions of TCHU and the software developer.
