Head of IT Operations and Infrastructure in Smart Solutions

We are looking for Head of IT Operations and Infrastructure for an international fintech company.

As the Head of IT Operations and Infrastructure, you will:
• play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing our IT operations;
• ensure the stability, security, and scalability of our infrastructure, resulting in uninterrupted service delivery;
• enhance the efficiency and resilience of our IT systems, aligning technology solutions with business objectives and industry standards;
• lead IT team.

Requirements
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role;
• Ability to develop and implement strategic plans for IT operations and infrastructure;
• Proven experience in a senior IT operations role, with a strong track record of managing and optimizing IT infrastructure;
• Proven track record in managing and optimizing large-scale IT infrastructure and operations;
• Proficiency in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud;
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes;
• Knowledge of automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab);
• Good verbal and written English & Russian communication skills;
• Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities
• Plan and organize the work of the IT Unit;
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and hardware components;
• Streamline IT processes and workflows to ensure optimal efficiency, security, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements;
• Develop and execute strategic plans for IT operations;
• Lead incident response efforts, promptly address technical issues, minimize downtime, and implement preventive measures to enhance system resilience;
• Participate in the development of the company's internal regulatory documents, products, and processes, and their changes within the scope of own competence and in cooperation with colleagues from other departments.

Would be a plus
• Experience with ISO27001 certification and other relevant certifications;
• Knowledge of compliance standards and regulations (e.g., ISO27001, GDPR);
• Strong skills in writing down documentation;
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
