Head of International Business Development in Kharkiv IT Cluster

Kharkiv IT Cluster is an international technology community that works at the regional, national and international levels and unites business, education and professional communities around the development of the technology business ecosystem.

We develop international partnerships, work with European programs and we integrate Ukrainian technological business into global markets.

Now we are expanding our international direction and are looking for a manager who will build the systematic development of international partnerships and open new opportunities for community members.

The role in team

This is a strategic role responsible for the development of the international direction of the Kharkiv IT Cluster.

You will work at the intersection of business, partnerships and international programs, creating new opportunities for Ukrainian technology companies.

 Our candidate is a person who:

• has 3+ years of experience in business development / partnerships / international projects
• has experience working with international partners or programs
• knows how to build long-term partnerships
• thinks strategically and sees opportunities
• has strong communication and negotiation skills
• has English at a level no lower than Upper-Intermediate (B2+)
• proactive and result-oriented

Will be an advantage:

• experience of working with European programs (EU, Horizon, Digital Europe, EDIH, etc.)
• experience of working in clusters, associations or ecosystems
• experience of developing international markets

What will be required to do

• Form and implement an international development strategy
• Develop partnerships with European and international organizations
• Identify opportunities for participation in international programs and initiatives (EU, donor programs, clusters)
• Launch and support international projects and collaborations
• Develop a network of contacts (companies, clusters, associations, institutions)
• Support the exit of community members to international markets
• Coordinate participation in international events, missions and forums
• Form a pipeline of opportunities and partnerships
