Mission Kharkivis one of the largest medical charities in Ukraine in terms of the amount of aid provided. One of the key areas of our work is systemic support for adult patients with cancer.

Our organization, starting in 2022, will implement large-scale programs for the supply of medicines, transportation and evacuation of patients, first aid, provision of hygiene kits, as well as providing psychosocial support to beneficiaries and strengthening the capacity of medical personnel.

  • Location: ?m. Kharkiv / Kyiv (remote work format possible), with business trips throughout Ukraine.
  • Expected start date:15.12.2025 ?

The project manager is responsible for planning, organizing and controlling all components, related to the project - organization of trainings and provision of equipment, performance monitoring, interaction with partners and ensuring the safety of participants, development and compliance with standard operating procedures, monitoring of indicators and reporting, coordination of activities with state institutions, development and implementation of operational and security standards.

Main responsibilities

Project management:

  • Planning, coordination and daily management of all stages of project implementation.
  • Development and control of execution detailed work plan, schedules and budgets.
    Ensuring compliance of activities with donor requirements, SOP, security policies and M&E plan.
  • Control of NFI distribution to healthcare facilities.

Team coordination:

  • Organizing the work of trainers, logisticians, buyers, coordinators and other team members.
  • Conducting briefings on SOP, security, M&E and data protection.
  • Quality control of trainings, visits, procurement and installation of equipment.

Communication with partners:

  • Interaction with responsible persons of critical infrastructure facilities and health care facilities (energy and utility companies, Ministry of Energy, etc.).
  • cooperation agreements, approval of training schedules and installation of first-aid kits.active communication and transparency for all stakeholders.

Logistics, procurement and quality control:

  • Coordination of procurement of components of first-aid kits and mobile sets, equipment for the implementation of project activities
  • Quality control, compliance with standards and timely delivery.
  • Organization of assembly, packaging and distribution of sets.

Monitoring, evaluation and reporting:

    Risk management:

    • Monitoring the security situation, adapting plans and logistics according to risks.
    • Ensuring the safety of the team during field activities.
    • Implementing the risk mitigation plan (funding delays, logistics, personnel, access).

    Communication and visibility:

    • Coordinating the preparation of media materials
    • Ensuring proper branding and donor requirements visibility.
    • Cooperation with the communication manager to implement the communication plan.

    Candidate requirements

    Education and experience:

    • Higher education (preferred: management, public administration, international relations, humanitarian sciences).
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in managing humanitarian, social or medical projects.
    • Experience of interaction with energy or critical infrastructure enterprises (will be an advantage).
    • Experience of working with international donors (will be an advantage).

    Competencies required:

    • Excellent planning, coordination and team management skills.
      Sound knowledge of humanitarian standards, security protocols and principles of humanity.
    • Understanding of M&E tools, logframes, indicators.
    • Strong communication skills, ability to negotiate and work with stakeholders.
    • Ability to workyou are in conditions of increased security instability.
    • Readiness for frequent business trips (including to frontline areas).

    Technical skills:

    • Confident command of office programs (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, as well as Aitable and Slack will be an advantage.
    • Knowledge of the basics of medical protocol and the pre-hospital stage of care is desirable.
    • Experience with reporting and monitoring tools (eg Power BI, Kobo, Activity Info) will be an advantage.
    • Having a driver's license will be an advantage.

    Languages:

    • Fluency in Ukrainian, English will be an advantage.
