About us:

UA Brokers Without Borders (UA BWB) is a charitable organization created in February 2022 in response to the beginning of the great war in Ukraine. We were founded to actively participate in the fight against the consequences of Russian aggression and to help our compatriots in these difficult times. We focus on the restoration of hospitals and educational institutions that mainly serve vulnerable social groups: residents of frontline regions, women, children, internally displaced persons (IDPs) and the wounded. We repair damaged buildings, create shelters and provide institutions with critical equipment to continue their work and serve the public.

For 2.5 years of our activity, we implemented projects worth more than 8 million dollars and created a team of true professionals in their field. We are looking for:Humanitarian of the project.

Goal of the project: Reconstruction of private housing (apartments and private houses) that were damaged during hostilities by the Russian Federation in the Kyiv region. 

Term of the project:< span style="font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none"> September-November 2024.

Main duties:

Planning and coordination:

  • Development of a detailed project implementation plan, including division of responsibilities and time frames for each stage;

  • Ensuring the implementation of all project stages in accordance with the established terms and budget;

  • Managing a team of 2 civil engineers

  • Coordination of site visits, including route planning and arrangements with beneficiaries;

  • Control over the assessment of the needs of beneficiaries;

  • Coordination of the work of the entire project team and constant cooperation with all stakeholders, in particular with local communities;

  • Ensuring compliance with the conditions and criteria of the donor regarding project implementation;

  • Supervising the conduct and quality of repair works (several selective visits to objects).

Monitoring and reporting:

  • Constant monitoring of work progress;

  • Preparation and submission of regular reports on the progress of the project to the donor and all interested parties;

  • Conducting a final departure to check objects;

  • Preparation of final documentation and reports for project completion;

  • Evaluation of project results and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Higher education (bachelor, specialist, master).

  • Work experience of 5 years or more, at least 3 of them in similar positions

  • Experience in non-profit organizations will be an advantage.

  • Experience of participating in projects supported by international organizations will be an advantage.

  • Experience in construction will be an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and adaptability. 

  • Organization and pedantry, attention to details and the ability to handle large amounts of information.

  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage a team.

  • English language level from B1 and above

Having your own car and driver's license is a must.

Form of cooperation: on the basis of the contract (it is necessary to have the status of a natural person - an entrepreneur). We provide consulting support.
