Proliska NGO announces a competition to fill the vacant position of "Head of the Humanitarian Center in Pavlograd"

Proliska public organization is a non-commercial, non-political humanitarian organization that has been providing comprehensive assistance and protection to the population since 2014. who suffered as a result of military actions in Ukraine.

Currently, our organization works in 13 regions of Ukraine and provides: social support of the most vulnerable people who suffered as a result of military actions; provision of psychological assistance to victims; consulting on social issues; provision of humanitarian aid and materials for emergency repairs of housing damaged as a result of hostilities; providing assistance to institutions and establishments where IDPs have found refuge; assistance in the evacuation of the population from the combat zone and social transportation of residents of settlements along the combat line and in de-occupied territories where regular transport does not operate.

I. Requirements for the contestant:

  • Higher education (required);
  • Higher education in the field of economics, law, social and related sciences (will be an advantage);
  • Experience in management positions (will be an advantage);
  • Fluency in Ukrainian language (required) and English (will be an advantage);
  • High communication skills;
  • Business correspondence skills;
  • Team building and personnel management skills;
  • Ability to motivate people to achieve individual and team results, effectively delegate tasks and manage performance, monitor and analyze activities for improvement efficiency;
  • Professional level of knowledge of Microsoft Office programs;
  • Experience in processing statistical data, writing reports and using statistical reporting platforms such as Kobo-forms (will be an advantage);
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the region, including to the territory close to the combat zone, to controlled by the Government of the territory of Ukraine;
  • Ability to analyze and consolidate data, identify trends;
  • Ability to think critically;
  • Preference will be given to candidates with similar work experience in non-profit organizations or UN agencies.

II. Functional responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the activities of the humanitarian center aimed at providing assistance to IDPs, the population who returned to their previous places of residence and the population suffering from the daily consequences of the armed conflict;
  • Representing the organization at working meetings, coordination meetings, seminars and trainings;
  • Daily coordination and planning of current tasks, monitoring and analysis of humanitarian center activities, distribution of responsibilities among employees;
  • Constant communication and reportingadvising the management of the organization regarding the activities of the humanitarian center, discussing issues, achievements, and further development strategy;
  • Control over the quality of task performance, control over working hours and checking daily reports of service providers;
  • Control over employees' completion of trainings defined by the project;
  • Compilation of weekly plans and descriptive reports;
  • Conducting regular field visits for quality control;
  • Systematization, analysis of field documentation and information processing;
  • Adherence to the deadlines for the implementation of the goals determined by the project;
  • Adherence to the policies of the organization;
  • Covering the activity and activities of the Public Organization.
