For our client, an international company conducting reconstruction projects in Ukraine, we are looking for candidates for the Head of Finance and Administration position. This is an outstanding opportunity for financial professionals seeking ways to widen their sphere of responsibility in operational management.In this position, you will:Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements in collaboration with an external accountantCoordinate and direct the preparation of regulatory reportingManage and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecastsOversee the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting functionsEnsure accurate and timely closing of the books monthly, quarterly, and annuallyEstablish and maintain internal controls to protect company assets, policies, procedures, and workflowsEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings in collaboration with an external accountantAnalyse financial data and create reports for management, Group Finance, and external parties as requiredProvide financial insights and projections to the executive management team/Group Finance to aid in decision-makingSupport management and Group Finance with finance-related projects (e.g. inventory mgmt. build-up in the ERP system, document management, etc.)Qualification criteria:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fieldMaster’s degree or CPA/CMA/ACCA certification is highly desirable but not a mustMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a managerial roleStrong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgetingProficiency in accounting software (Medoc, 1C, KUP, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP) and Microsoft Office SuiteDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting and analysisStrong team player with a hands-on approach and collaborative mindsetFluent English and Ukrainian language skills are a must, both written and spoken.
