PJSC «Geberit Ceramics Production» is looking for successful Head of EHS to join our team in Slavuta plant.

We are high-tech enterprise with a full cycle production of ceramic sanitary ware, part of the globally operating Geberit Group, which is an European leader in the field of sanitary products.

Head of EHS is responsible for leading the EHS site organization and implementing the environmental, safety & health strategy ensuring full compliance with UA legislation and Geberit Group corporate standards. 

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and maintain environmental, safety & health strategy ensuring full compliance with UA legislation and Geberit Group corporate standards.
  • Manage EHS department, facilitate development of direct reports.
  • Provide effective leadership to strengthen safety-minded culture and increase involvement and awareness of employees.
  • Advise and support Slavuta leadership team and other staff on environmental, safety & health topics.
  • Lead the incidents investigation process, including root cause analysis and planning corrective actions.
  • Perform risk assessments and lead the implementation of effective physical and behavioral control measures to reduce risk.
  • Implement and maintain EHS best practices: BOI, LOTO, change management, improving ergonomics and working conditions, reducing RCS impact, environmental protection.
  • Ensure all employees receive appropriate trainings on safety procedures (including legally required trainings).
  • Monitor compliance with EHS regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety audits.
  • Corporate and governmental reporting.

Education and Experience

  • Higher education (EHS or engineering).
  • From five years of general health, safety & Environmental experience (preferably in international companies)
  • Upper intermediate level of English (B2).
  • Knowledge of ISO standards (14001; 45001). Certification is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of UA EHS legislation. 
  • Knowledge of EHS best practices.

    The head of the occupational safety and environmental protection department is responsible for the development and implementation of the occupational safety and environmental protection strategy in accordance with the requirements of Ukrainian legislation and Geberit Group corporate standards.

    < /strong>Tasks and responsibilities

     Organizes and coordinates work on the implementation of an effective system of labor protection and ecology at the enterprise.

    • Develops measures with improvement of working conditions and protection of the natural environment.
    • Controls compliance with legal norms regarding labor and natural environment protection on the territory of the company.
    • Implements and supports the best EHS practices: BOI, LOTO, management changes, improving ergonomics and working conditions, reducing the impact of RCS, protecting the environment.
    • Provides effective leadership to strengthen the safety culture and increase employee involvement and awareness on occupational health and safety issues.
    • Advises management Slavuty and other EHS personnel.
    • Manages the incident investigation process, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
    • Performs risk assessments and implements effective mitigation measures impact on them.
    • Responsible for the process of organizing mandatory training on labor protection issues.
    • Performs regular audits on safety and environmental issues.
    • Responsible for filling and timely submission of corporate and state reporting.

    Education and experience

    Higher education (preferred areas - security labor, ecology, engineering).

    • From 5 years of work experience in the field of occupational safety or ecology at a production enterprise (preferably in international companies).
    • Level of English from Upper intermediate (B2).
    • Knowledge of ISO standards (14001; 45001). Certification is desirable.
    • Knowledge of legislation in the field of occupational safety and ecology.
    • Knowledge of EHS best practices.
