Head of Delivery in Altamira

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as Head of Delivery on the B2B marketplace project. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end planning, management, and successful delivery of various initiatives. You will be a line manager for your stream’s Delivery (Project) Management team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent Project Management skills, be flexible in the fast-changing environment, have a deep understanding of dynamic business requirements, and have the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders of different vertical and cross-functional teams.

What you will be doing:

• End-to-End Project Management: Plan, manage, and deliver initiatives from initiation to completion, ensuring successful outcomes within specified timelines and resource constraints.
• Conflict Resolution and Optimization: Effectively manage project conflicts, challenges, and evolving business requirements to optimize delivery and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaboration with Delivery Managers: Work closely with Delivery Managers to resolve challenges and roadblocks, fostering a collaborative environment for successful projects execution.
• PI Planning Ownership: Own and facilitate Program Increment (PI) planning sessions, ensuring alignment of teams and resources towards common objectives.
• Workflow Optimization: Optimize the flow of work to ensure effective collaboration among teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement in project delivery.
• Continuous Improvement Culture: Foster a delivery culture of continuous improvement, providing coaching and guidance to teams on best practices and efficient processes.
• Process Efficiency Definition and Implementation: Lead the effort in relentless improvement by defining and implementing process efficiencies to enhance the velocity and quality of project solutions.
• Impediment Identification and Elimination: Proactively identify and eliminate impediments to maintain project momentum and success.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Lead meetings with Senior Management and Stakeholders to discuss project status, key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure alignment with scope, schedule, quality, resource, and cost objectives.
• Progress Monitoring and Issue Mitigation: Monitor project progress, track key milestones, report on percent completion, and identify, track, and mitigate project issues and risks.
• Scope Management: Manage and track the scope of work/requirements, explaining implications of changes, and collaborating with stakeholders to address scope creep and additional costs.

What you should have:

• Proven experience as a Program Manager / Delivery Manager / Head of Delivery or similar management role.

• Advanced skills in Change and Risk management.
• Deep understanding of the business needs and skills in Stakeholders’ management. Previous experience as a Business Analyst (BA) or PO (Product Owner) or knowledge of this area is a plus. Previous experience in the Product Company in this position is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Project Management methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. All communications will be in English. B2+ English level is a must.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
