Head/Head of the logistics operations unit in Syngenta

Syngenta, a leader in the international market of seeds and plant protection products, is opening a competition for experienced and ambitious specialists for the Head/Head of the division of logistics operations.

Duties:

• Develop and participate in team training for the development and improvement of competencies that are necessary for the performance of work tasks
• Conduct operational quality assessment, implement process improvement projects, standardization SOPs that pour into metrics such as: L/Kg cost, truck utilization rate, on-time order, stock replenishment accuracy
• Build and maintain strong relationships with global teams and logistics providers, ensuring a seamless process and collaboration
• Define and manage the execution of operations - from product receipt to delivery - using functional knowledge of the supply chain
• Collect data on existing processes: conduct analysis to identify defects or inefficiencies, draw conclusions and suggestions for process improvement
• Contribute and provide opportunities to improve joint projects
• Manage critical expansions occurring in the logistics network to reduce the impact on the consumer
• Predict risks and pre-determine risk reduction mechanisms

Our candidate has:

• Higher education (mathematics, logistics)
• Work experience from 4 years on similar position
• Knowledge of supply chain management concepts – forecasting, planning, optimization, logistics
• Experience using Six Sigma or Lean practices to optimize supply chain and operational processes
• Ability to work with large amounts of data and draw conclusions based on analysis
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office programs (high level of knowledge of Excel)
• Basic knowledge of SQL, SAP (will an advantage)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of the English language at the Upper-Intermediate level and above ( mandatory)
• Valid driver's license, category B
