Hardware Manual Test Engineer in ALLSTARSIT

About the Project

SATEC is a 37 years old company developing and selling energy measurement and analysis systems including meters, Power quality analyzers and fault analyzers for
industrial/commercial customers in more than 80 countries throughout five continents. We are seeking for an ambitious candidate with previous experience in Manual testing to join our global QA team. A fast learner keen into learning new material and on details.

Required skills:

• Electronics/Communication/IT/Physis degree or related field from known university
• At least 3 years of experience in manual testing of devices with multiple interfaces
• Understanding electricity and electrical energy basics
• Practical knowledge of communication protocols– TCP/IP, Modbus, (more protocols – advantage)
• Ethernet, Serial communications - hands-on experience
• Proven experience in writing test documents Jira, TestRail or other Quality Management
• Systems - hands-on experience
• BSc in Electric & Electronic Engineering - advantage
• Good English reading, writing and speaking skills, more languages – advantage
• Self-learner, team worker, creative, thrives on intellectual challenges

Scope of work:

• Perform functional tests of SATEC devices
• Analyze results and report issues
• Write test documents based on feature description (like User Manual)
• Build setups including power wiring and communication interfaces
