Ukrainian Network for Children's Rights (hereinafter - UMPD) was created to consolidate efforts and improve coordination between civil society organizations in Ukraine and their influence on state policy in the field of ensuring children's rights.

Ukrainian Network for Children's Rights" within the project "Supporting children and youth with experience in alternative forms of care" is looking for a designer.

Task: design of materials, graphic images, formation of a positive image and drawing attention to key areas: advocacy, mentoring and development of children and youth.

Main responsibilities:

  • development of creative and innovative design solutions for various media materials (booklets, posters, web banners, presentations, social media, etc.);
  • visual design of various events;
  • creation of infographics and data visualization for reports and presentations;
  • collaboration with the communication team to develop a visual branding concept; 
  • adherence to the brand book and corporate style in all design materials;
  • preparation of visibility layouts for printing;
  • adaptation of visual materials for various platforms (social networks, presentations, printed materials).

Requirements for candidate(s):

  • experience in graphic design for at least 3 years;
  • fluency in graphic editors (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, etc.);
  • creative approach and the ability to generate original ideas;
  • availability of a portfolio;
  • experience with layout and visual communication;
  • understanding of trends in design and the ability to adapt them to the needs of different target audiences;
  • ability to work in a team and under pressure of deadlines;
  • knowledge and understanding of the field of children and youth and youth trends will be an advantage.
  • experience in creating design for social or non-profit organizations will be an advantage;
  • experience of working with project initiatives where the target audience is children/youth who grow up or have grown up in residential institutions; orphans, children deprived of parental care, and persons from among them; children/youth who are in difficult life circumstances will be an advantage;
  • fluency in spoken and written English and Ukrainian languages.
