Graphic Designer in The Monster Group

Job DescriptionThe Monster Group is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to use their artistic abilities to communicate ideas, inform consumers, and visually bring our brands to life. A successful graphic designer at The Monster Group will have a keen eye for detail and will be well-versed in print design, digital design, and will have the ability to take a product from conception to execution. Must include portfolio to be considered!Essential Job Responsibilities:We are looking for a collaborative, adaptable, results-driven team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, keep stakeholders informed and consistently meet deadlines. Create and design various materials for print (packaging) and digital collateralEnsure projects are completed with high quality and on scheduleEstablish creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelinesPrioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictionsPerform retouching and manipulation of imagesWork with a wide range of media and use graphic design softwareKnowledge, Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field. Equivalent combination of relevant experience may be substituted for education as appropriate. Minimum 3 years creative at either an in-house brand or agency experience Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the webFamiliarity with HTML and CSS preferredKnowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design softwareCompelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projectsSuperior organizational skills and strong oral and written communication skillsMust have the ability to convey concepts and give design direction through layouts and effective written and verbal communicationStrong business and analytical skillsAbility to work creatively and collaboratively in a team setting. Packaging experience is a MUST!Excellent eye for detail required. Work Conditions & Physical Requirements:Ability to sit for long periods of time and work at a computer is required.
