Job DescriptionBrand Identity, Packaging, and LayoutMovetic is looking to bring on a Graphic Designer to join our growing hyper-creative collective. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating full-scale brands, in print and online. We are looking for someone with extensive experience in custom logo suite design, packaging design, layout design, and complete identity development, with multiple diverse full-scale brand identity case studies in their portfolio. Web design experience is a strong bonus.We are looking for someone who can work hand in hand with our executive creative director, core leadership, other creatives, and strategists on the team to craft exciting full-scale brands from the ground up.In addition to identity experience, we are looking for a candidate who can show high skill in print or web layout work. (Anything from brochures, magazines, web pages, decks, etc.)This position will also be helping with internal design deliverables, including social media assets, case studies, and marketing materials. Having web design experience or interest is a bonus, as the role will involve some web design layout work. This role is fast-paced, self-sufficient, multifaceted, and exciting, with creative freedom and influence from various companies.WE NEED A PERSON WITH:Aligned Values: Team-first mentality, high Communication, Humility, Willingness to Grow and progress Fast learner, self-starter, and open-mindedExperience with Branding, Identity, and Packaging design (3 - 5 years minimum. Must have at least 3 full-scale branding case studies in a portfolio to be considered)Experience creating unique custom logos and full-scale graphic identities from scratchLayout design experience (brochures, decks, magazines, print, website etc.)Graduated with a degree in Graphic DesignHighly proficient in Adobe Suite (Xd, Ai, Ps, Id, etc.)Highly creative with a strong sense of style and aestheticsA knack for detail & organizationConfidence and talent when it comes to presenting to clients and stakeholders at all levelsLoves technology, people, and emerging trendsEnjoys being VERY creative with all mediums. (print, web, social, video, photo, etc)Some web design experience is a plusWHAT YOUR JOB WILL ENTAIL:Contract to Hire This is a remote position. Must have a reliable workspace and be willing to travel for quarterly team meetings in San Diego, CA. Work hand in hand with the Co-Founders and other creatives on the team. Progress yourself as well as the projects you work on. Create and present brands from scratch following our detailed process (Branding - logomark, logotype, lockups, color, typography, identity systems, print materials, Identity Systems, etc)Design print packaging, all the way from concept to print filesCreate presentation decks and marketing materialsIn some cases, layout websites and landing pages. Although extensive web design experience is not a must, layout design experience and an interest in web is mandatory. In some cases (based on experience), help with art direction presentations for clients while collaborating with our executive Creative Director. Create packaging and print designs for both B2C & B2C clients. Work with the team to design graphics for clients and internal marketing purposes.
