You will play a key role in researching funding opportunities, developing project concepts, and preparing winning applications to international and national donors.

This position is ideal for professionals passionate about development, innovation, and helping Ukrainian businesses and organizations grow through effective fundraising.

Key Responsibilities

  • Funding Research: Identify and analyze funding opportunities from international donors, EU and government programs, foundations, and private-sector initiatives.
  • Project Concepting: Support clients and internal teams in structuring project ideas and aligning them with donor priorities and funding frameworks.
  • Donor Engagement: Support communication with donor representatives, respond to clarifications, and adapt proposals based on feedback.
  • Market & Policy Intelligence: Track new funding calls, donor strategies, and emerging trends relevant to Ukraine’s innovation and recovery sectors.
  • Knowledge Management: Contribute to EPSA’s internal “Grant Knowledge Base” and maintain up-to-date data on open calls, deadlines, and donor criteria.
  • Reporting & Quality Control: Ensure accuracy, coherence, and compliance of all submitted materials with donor requirements and EPSA standards.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education: Degree in international relations, economics, public policy, communications, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in fundraising, proposal writing, donor engagement, or project development for international donors.
  • Grant Literacy: Solid understanding of donor mechanisms (EU, USAID, GIZ, Norad, EIB, Horizon Europe, etc.) and experience writing for both public and private funding.
  • Languages: Fluent Ukrainian and English (C1 or above); strong writing and editing skills in English are essential.

Skills

  • Excellent analytical and research abilities.
  • Outstanding written communication and attention to detail.
  • Creative and strategic approach to project framing and storytelling.

We Offer

  • Competitive Salary: Attractive compensation package plus performance-based bonuses.
  • Professional Development: Access to EPSA’s European training programs and internal knowledge network.
  • Purposeful Work: Direct contribution to Ukraine’s innovation, recovery, and competitiveness.
  • International Collaboration: Work with experienced teams across Europe on cross-border projects.
  • Supportive Culture: Dynamic, mission-driven environment that encourages initiative and growth.

Deadline: Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis; the vacancy will remain open until 30.11.2025.
