The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit and deep passion for digital marketing and online community building, with comfort in bringing their authentic self into all areas of their work. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Giving, the Giving Coordinator will be responsible for project management and administering growth for the TED Membership and online giving program, with $3.1 million raised since the program launched in 2021. The program spans 20K+ individuals across the globe, with new strategies being employed to significantly grow our base of members and donors. We are looking for someone who loves community building and can use their passion for grassroots giving to mobilize TED’s audiences in support of our mission to discover and spread ideas that spark imagination, embrace possibility and catalyze impact.The ideal candidate is technologically savvy with a background in marketing, subscriptions, and/or membership engagement and will demonstrate an ease with database management. They will have an intellectual appetite for TED’s mission and pursue audience development with persistence and creativity. They will be highly organized with a laser focus on detail and the ability to manage multiple ongoing strategies simultaneously across TED.com advertising, social media, email communication, and virtual event outreach. Knowledge of SEM, UX, and/or digital fundraising is a plus.This person must be a clear, effective communicator, as they will be coordinating with many different internal stakeholders.This role is based in TED’s Global Headquarters in NYC, but we are open to fully remote candidates. Opportunities for advancement for exceptional hires.Responsibilities:Guiding operations for the TED Membership and online giving program, matching revenue goals with strategic implementation of initiatives Handling data analytics, reporting, tracking metrics and sophisticated list segmentationProject management including organizing tasks, meeting deadlines, arranging timelines and project briefsMarketing coordination, bringing a focus to digital storytelling through content, paid advertising, and overall acquisition strategiesKnowledgeable on engagement strategies to reduce churn, carrying virtual events logistics and communicationsSuperb writing skills with an interest in finding creative ways to articulate TED’s voice and capture an audience’s attention through copyQualificationsExperience and Profile:2-3 years of experience in the fieldAdept at project management databases, CRMs, and email marketing systemsExperience with digital marketing in a professional setting; You might currently be a Marketing Associate at a global company, Community Engagement Specialist at an association, or Membership Coordinator at a nonprofit organizationAdditional InformationSALARY RANGE: $60,000 - $70,000BenefitsFull health benefits (medical, dental, vision) 100% paid by TED for employeesPaid family leaveWork-life balance is encouraged through our flexible paid time off.
