For our client, an international manufacturing company, we are looking for candidates for the position of General Ledger Team Leader EMEA.

Your tasks:

• processing all financial transactions on an ongoing basis, in accordance with US GAAP and Polish accounting principles (operational work will take 20 - 25% of the time)< /li>
• team management (7 - 8 people), providing feedback, supporting the development and skills of team members, as well as team integration and culture in accordance with company standards, ensuring the appropriate level of knowledge and skills to guarantee the continuity of GL processes
• coordination of month end closing
• ensuring compliance with SOX standards and company policy
• coordination of internal and external audits
• identification of potential for improvements and standardization of GL processes in the organization

What we expect:

• education and/or qualifications in finance and accounting
• min 2-3 years of experience in a similar position in an international organization, in SSC/BPO structures
• experience in team management
• knowledge of SAP and MS Office
• knowledge IFRS and/or US GAAP and SOX
