Job description:

• Designs and implements end to end data products within GCP (Google Cloud Platform) environment.
• Responsible for ingestion, transformation, loading to final structures and exposition of the data according to agreed requirements.
• Implements aspects and features of data platform to support creation of data products.
• The job will offer you opportunities to participate in international projects in Central and South-Eastern Europe (job locations Slovakia).
• We are looking for people who share with us the passion that working with data and people is fun and a “mission”, not a “job”.

For your work you will need:

• Previous experience as developer in GCP or within other public cloud environments or Data engineer
• Real practical experience with data infrastructure & processing & storage components in GCP (GCS, BigQuery, Cloud functions, Composer, Cloud run, Dataflow, Dataproc)
• Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification is advantage
• Very good SQL knowledge
• Very good Python skills, Java/Scala skills is a plus
• Experience with data processing and storage concepts — data warehousing, historization, data lakes
• Experience with batch and streaming processing techniques
• CI/CD experience
• Knowledge of Terraform for IaC is a plus
• Unix and scripting
