About the job
We are looking for a Game Server Support Specialist to assist in maintaining and monitoring our game servers during the nighttime hours for our upcoming MMO RPG Corepunk.
Developing MMO games is very challenging. In our view it is as much rewarding. We want to find someone who shares our passion for challenge and excellence to enjoy this path together.
This is a temporary position with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role.
Responsibilities
Monitor and support Corepunk game servers during night shifts
Respond to and resolve any technical issues that arise during server tests
Communicate with the development and QA teams about any server issues or irregularities
Perform routine server maintenance and checks
Document and report any incidents or recurring issues for further analysis
Assist with basic integration tasks as needed
Requirements
Basic understanding of server management and technical support
Strong interest in gaming and game development
Ability to work independently during night shifts
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
Eagerness to learn and grow within a game development environment
Availability to work during nighttime hours
Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English proficiency
Will be a plus
Experience in game server management or technical support
Familiarity with MMO games and their server architecture
Basic scripting or programming knowledge
Previous experience with QA or integration tasks
