Job DescriptionThe Game Server Developer isa part of our Game Studio atQuickspin. The role isfocused onimplementing our game servers and continuing todevelop our infrastructure, framework, and tool support. Asaserver developer you will be involved in several parallel game projects aswell asimprovements inour framework and processes. You will bepart ofasmall, closely-knit Product Team which also includes Producers and Mathematicians, and who all love games invarious forms. Our tech stack iscentered around Java, Maven, Git, AWS and Docker. Weembrace automation, continuous integration and easy infrastructures— and highly value optimization, problem solving and high quality. We design interesting and challenging algorithms, and this is where your problem-solving skills will come into play— not tomention a real passion for delivering the most optimized and efficient solutions, and sense of ownership. The game server developer is a key role, so it is important that you are self-sufficient and able to drive your tasks autonomously. You will work inacasual and playful atmosphere and collaborate with colleagues invarious locations such asPoland, Ukraine and Sweden. Qualifications4+years ofworking experience inJava; Good understanding ofOOP; Experience with GIT &Maven; Experience inoptimizing algorithms; Math skills: probability and algorithms; Mathematical intuition and ability tointerpret simulation results; Interest ingames; knowledge ofslot games isaplus; Proficiency in both written and spoken EnglishWealso value Working experience inthe iGaming industry; Experience developing slot game engines inJava orC/C#; Experience inwriting unit tests; Experience in working with REST Endpoints in Java; Knowledge ofJPA, EJB; Experience with CI/CD; Experience with AWS; Experience working with security and risk evaluation; Additional InformationWeare seeking astructured yet creative person, who does not settle and isalways eager tolearn and develop new things.
