Key Responsibilities:

• Development and WordPress site support

• Creation and refinement of WordPress themes and plugins.

• Optimization of performance and security of WordPress sites.

• Working with databases (MySQL), construction and optimization of SQL queries.

• Analysis, refactoring and gradual reduction of technical debt.

• Optimization of performance, security and stability of web projects.

• Integration of third-party services.

• Participation in the design and implementation of custom web solutions outside of standard WordPress.

Requirements:

• Higher education.
• Experience with WordPress from 3 years.

• Proficient in PHP (commercial experience in developing and supporting production solutions).

• Practical experience in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.

• Confident knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+) and understanding of the principles of client construction parts.

• Experience of integrations with external services via REST API and/or GraphQL.

• Understanding the principles of web application security (working with vulnerabilities and their prevention).

• Understanding the principles of relational databases and practical experience with MySQL (query optimization, indexes, performance).

• Ability to work with existing by code: analysis, refactoring, improving architecture and reducing technical debt.

• Understanding the basic principles of SEO optimization for websites (page structure, metadata, performance, indexing).
