About Project:

As our full-stack software engineer, you will be responsible for developing new features and maintaining, improving, and optimizing existing code. While the focus will be on backend development and integration with third-party vendors using various communication channels, you will occasionally develop new UI features and connect them with the backend.
The project aims to provide a comprehensive transport solution available anytime, anywhere. It consolidates and simplifies the freight process for trucking companies, freight forwarders, and clients by integrating all aspects into one system. This includes pricing, booking, selecting freight providers, tracking and tracing shipments, label printing, billing, statistics, and more, all accessible through a single cloud-based platform.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain backend features and services;
• Monitor and optimize the performance of existing systems;
• Implement security best practices to protect customer data;
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in backend and cloud development;
• Collaborate with other team members.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of Ruby on Rails development experience in a production environment;
• Recent experience developing the backend for web and mobile apps;
• Recent experience developing web apps in React;
• Experience troubleshooting issues;
• Experience with scalable development and deployment for large datasets;
• Experience with database and query optimization;
• Proficiency with RESTful and GraphQL APIs;
• Experience with version control (Git) and agile development methodologies;
• Understanding of DevOps principles and best practices;
• Knowledge of security best practices for web and mobile applications;
• Experience with RSpec or other automated testing frameworks;
• Good command of English, B1 strong level or higher.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Heroku or AWS;
• Docker experience;
• React Native experience.
