Our client is an innovative startup based in New York City that is dedicated to developing cutting-edge browser security solutions. We are currently seeking a skilled Software Engineer to contribute to the development of our browser security product. As a team member, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the security and privacy features of our client’s product, ensuring a seamless and protected online experience for our users.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions for browser security.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Work closely with product managers and UX/UI designers to implement new features and improvements.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and other issues proactively.
- Participate in the agile development process, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience of 4+ years as a software engineer in TypeScript, NodeJS, and React.
- Solid understanding of web security principles and best practices.
- Experience with browser extensions and security software products is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote work environment.
- Proficiency in English (B2 level and higher).
