Full Stack Engineer (Ruby/React) in Social Solutions Group

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Full Stack Engineer with expertise in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and JavaScript technologies. As a advanced-level engineer, you will be responsible for developing, and maintaining our web and mobile applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and excellent user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust and scalable web and mobile application using Ruby, Ruby on Rails, React, and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including stakeholders, designers, mobile developers, and other developers to define project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Implement new features and functionality, conduct code reviews, and continuously optimize the application for maximum performance and usability.
• Identify and troubleshoot software defects and issues, providing timely resolutions and improvements.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, recommending and implementing best practices to enhance the development process.
   

Stack of the project

• Predominantly Grape and Sinatra Ruby on Rails
• Frontend part ReactJS, Redux and Next.js
• Postgres, Redis, GitHub, GCP, CircleCI, Docker, NewRelic, Metabase, ClickHouse
• Modern event-driven microservices architecture & monolithic applications

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience (4+ years) working as a Full Stack Engineer
• Proficiency in Ruby, Ruby on Rails and related frameworks.
• Strong understanding of mobile application development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Solid experience in at least one modern JavaScript Framework, specifically React.js
• Experience with database systems like PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• A proactive and self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as RSpec, Jasmine, or Jest.

Preferred Qualifications

• High load experiences, Postgres queries optimization
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, deployment tools, and containerization (e.g., GCP, Docker).
• Basic Tensorflow experience
• Knowlege of Terraform and Kubernetes would be a big plus
