Hello, we are Halo lab . We are engaged in product development for foreign startups and, together with our design team, we create high-quality web applications for our clients.

About us:

• We gave up our office during the war, so we all work remotely at the moment.
• We understand how important it is for developers to develop, so we have created a system of goals that helps team members learn new technologies and grow professionally.
• We regularly hold technical reports and have already collected a whole collection on the YouTube channel.
• In addition to client projects, we are engaged in open source development.

About you:

• You have commercial experience working with applications on NodeJS and Express , as well as experience in front-end application development.
• You know the nuances of JavaScript/TypeScript and NodeJS, React.js.
• You know how to design databases. We work mainly with PostreSQL and MongoDB.
• You can configure the CD on the client's server.
• You are not afraid of problems that you do not yet know how to solve. Being able to Google and find solutions is an important skill for the modern developer.
• Spoken English at the B2 level. It is necessary to communicate with customers on the basis of projects

It is desirable, but not necessary: ​​

• Experience with one of the cloud services : AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure.

What will need to be done:

• Write back-end and front-end. Sometimes we also do projects on NestJS and Fastify.
• Design databases.
• Work in a team. It will be necessary to contact front-end developers, testers and project managers.
• Review code written by other developers. Improve your code after it's been reviewed by your peers.
• Learn new technologies, frameworks, approaches to development on client projects and accomplish goals.
