REQUIREMENTS

— Location in EU
— 4+ years of demonstrated software development experience in a fast-paced environment
— Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a similar field, or equivalent work experience
— Ability to design and develop complex components independently, dealing with advanced architectural issues
— Good knowledge of web application architecture
— Proven experience in PHP
— Proven experience in JavaScript frameworks — ReactJS/Angular2+/VueJS (React — a big advantage)
— Advanced knowledge of HTML and CSS
— Solid understanding of and experience with modern web technologies
— Excellent written and spoken English (Upper-Intermediate or higher)

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Professional Services developer, you will create bespoke video platform solutions to meet the business goals of some of the largest and most sophisticated clients of the project. You will be responsible for the technical design and delivery of complex, custom video management solutions and applications. You will work closely with other developers, QA engineers, solution architects, designers, and project managers to solve unique technical challenges and support the users in leveraging video.

A successful full-stack developer we are looking for is a technologist who possesses a balance of technical depth, creative problem-solving ability, and strong interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for understanding the wide-ranging platform and product suite and using it to create new applications and components that engage and inspire our clients. To achieve this, you will often act as a trusted advisor to clients’ business stakeholders and have a tangible impact on their business operations and overall success.

The project is based on the SaaS model and has several directions, all related to video processing and management:

— cloud TV platform
— a video platform for media to get more views
— educational video platform for schools/universities/courses
— a corporate platform that works as a Zoom/Skype alternative and can be used as a YouTube alternative for sharing video content within an organization
