Frontend Team Lead in Wix

Job DescriptionAs a Frontend Team Lead you will be joining our frontend community of over 1000 talented frontend developers. At Wix, a Frontend Team Lead is responsible for the technical side of projects and people management. As a team leader your goal is to ensure that the product is feasible, can be done in a fair timeline and deliver it to production. Working closely with product managers, designers, developers, QAs and other team leaders is part of your day-to-day responsibilities.Manage a team of 4-5 frontend developersParticipate in the discovery phase of the features and help them to become a reality Lead or manage the technical researches for new productsBe responsible for team growth and development (people management and team management)Mentor and advise the team in code review, pair programming etc. Share knowledge and collaborate with other teamsDiscover the technical debt and help with its liquidationQualifications:At least 2 years experience leading a teamPossess strategic thinking and a strong grasp of the product life cycle, from research to prototyping, technical design, development, post production support. Proficient in modern frontend technologies (Typescript, React, Webpack, Redux, RxJS, etc.)Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills with a passion for learning new thingsExceptional problem-solving skillsCapable of collaborating and brainstorming with individuals of varying skill levelsProficient in leading and mentoring team members in complex projectsAbout The TeamWe are Wix’s Frontend Engineering Guild.
