S-PRO, a top-tier Digital Innovation and Software Engineering company, is seeking a Front-end Develoer. We specialise in providing cutting-edge services for fast-growing businesses and enterprises, with a strong focus on Finance, Renewable Energy and Healthcare domains and expertise in AI, Blockchain and Data Science. Project Overview:

We are looking to expand our development and maintenance capacity for the re-granting application at IUCN Species Grants.

Role Overview:

We are seeking skilled front-end developers with a strong command of Vue.js. You will work closely with other development teams of IUCN to ensure seamless integration via an OpenAPI specification for backend communication. You will be expected to resolve short-term issues with the application and prepare for the next phase of the project, which involves building new web apps from scratch and also doing major updates to existing services next year.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other development teams to work on the Vue.js application.
  • Address and resolve immediate issues in the existing application.
  • Interact with backend systems via an OpenAPI specification.
  • Participate in the onboarding process and familiarize yourself with the existing codebase and workflows.
  • Raise and address technical debt and other critical issues.
  • Prepare documentation updates as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Vue.js and related frontend technologies.
    • Experience with integrating with REST APIs
    • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in resolving application-specific issues.
    • Experience with Selenium for regression testing.
    • Familiarity with Bitbucket for code repository management.
  • Collaboration:
    • Ability to work closely with backend teams and other development groups.
    • Familiarity with using OpenAPI specifications for backend integration.
    • Previous experience with Jira for time tracking and sprint management.
  • General Requirements:
    • Strong communication skills in English (Upper Intermediate+ level).
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

Interview Process:

  • Interview with Recruiter (45 minutes).
  • Technical Interview (1 hour 30 minutes).
  • Client Interview ( 1-hour interview focusing on technical and management questions will be conducted by the client).
