Front-End in Project Ukraine

Circle is part of the ecosystem of the British company Ruliad. It is a social network of help where anyone can receive or give help. For this, we have developed a platform and are working on a mobile application.

The platform was launched under the name Find Refuge in early 2023 to help Ukrainians affected by a full-scale invasion. A year later, the rebranding took place - the platform changed its name to Circle and entered the international arena so that users from all over the world could give and receive help.

Requirements for the candidate:

• Front End developer experience - 3+ years;
• ReactJS, NextJS - 3+ years;
• MobX - 2 - 3+ years;
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (asynchrony, closures, etc.);
• Experience with form libraries and their validators;
• Knowledge of OOP (OOP), FP (FP);
pagination, endless-scroll, virtualization);
• Ability to work with the API (reading documentation, finding the necessary requests, as well as the ability to formulate and describe a new request if necessary);
• Ability to write reusable code;
• General understanding of the operation of databases and backend applications.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with TypeScript;
• Experience with ChakraUI;
• Experience in setting up a test environment and writing tests of various types (Unit, Integration, E2E testing).

Tasks:

• Layout of new pages and site functionality;
• Setting up mailing and notifications;
• Transfer of changes to dev and prod;
• Fix bugs;
• Performance of tasks according to  design and  technical task;
• Maintenance of existing and development of new functionality of the project;

• Planning, evaluation and prioritization of tasks;
• Interaction with UI/UX designers, programmers and testers;
• The candidate's duties include performing code reviews;
• Choice of technologies, packages, libraries to solve the tasks;
• Search for non-optimized places and their elimination;
• Ability to communicate the current situation on the platform to the management and the ability to dialogue with solution to the situation.
