Freelance Backend (REST API) Developer in Nokeep

As we continue to evolve, we are seeking a talented backend developer to join our team and build upon the strong foundation we've already established. We are seeking a highly independent and dedicated individual who is committed to delivering high-quality code.

This role is ideal for freelancers or individuals who are already employed and do not need to rely on Nokeep as their primary source of income. The hours are flexible and can be worked around your other commitments.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and maintain the REST API for our MVP
• Collaborate closely with our design and frontend teams to enhance and expand existing functionalities.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve any issues or bugs in the code.
• Identify and solve problems quickly and efficiently.

Who You Are:

• You have proven experience as a backend developer proficient in Java (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security).
• You have experience with AWS.
• You are skilled in making well-thought-out and dependable architectural decisions.
• You have experience in designing and documenting API endpoints.
• You have experience with SQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Preferably, you have experience with booking systems, payment processing, and stores.
• You are passionate about technology and excited about building new products.
• You are comfortable operating independently and managing your time effectively.
• You are Advanced in English.
