Fraud Analyst in DMarket (acquired by Mythical Games)

We are looking for a talented Fraud Analyst who will be responsible for identifying and handling suspicious and problematic claims and has extensive experience with solutions to combat fraud in financial products.

How< b>Fraud Analyst, you will help the team prevent and detect fraud threats. This applies to our payment systems, the use of product economics, and breaches of user personal data.

The ideal candidate must have exceptional analytical skills, as well as a passion for research and analysis.

Obviously responsibilities:

• Investigate suspicious transactions and take appropriate action based on classification to ensure potential financial risks are reduced while minimizing any negative customer experience;
• Assess fraud and money laundering risks related to the launch of new products, opening new territories and changes in existing products or financing methods;
• Investigate/verify suspicious transactions/circumstances, especially related to fraud in Internet and payment transactions;
• Keep detailed records of suspicious activity, analyze trends, industry security threats and provide recommendations to reduce losses;
• Create and maintain effective anti-fraud rules in payment systems;< /li>
• Perform customer payment risk assessment by reviewing documentation, using third-party tools and searching the Internet;
• Ensure timely closure of high-risk accounts before the company suffers financial losses;

• Cooperate with customer support and operations departments, as well as external payment partners on disputes, claims, suspicious activity or escalation requests;
• Identify high-risk accounts;
• Assist in daily processing of suspicious transactions.

What we expect:

• 2+ years of risk assessment and fraud detection experience;< /li>
• Knowledge of card scheme rules and financial transaction life cycle from authorization to refund etc.;
• Knowledge of SQL, Excel and other reporting tools as well as strong analytical and problem solving skills;

• Your experience extends to the practical use of any anti-fraud tools.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of hands-on chargeback, fraud and dispute resolution experience;
• At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing support/risk/finance department;
• Crypto experience a big plus ;
• Understanding fraud monitoring systems and the principles of their work;
• Understanding the concepts of bots and emulators;
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and Excel, working principles of API protocols.

Would be an advantage:

• Practical experience with one of the following software products: Internal Tools, Sift, SecuredTouch, payment provider consoles, Looker and BigQuery.
