We are currently looking for an FPV test pilot to join our R&D team.
Basic areas of work:
- Conducting test flights of FPV drones and small FPV aircraft in test field conditions;
- Checking the characteristics of systems: maneuverability, stability, range, speed, video link quality;
- Independent preparation of the board for flight: checking, adjusting, calibrating control systems and videos;
- Identifying technical problems and providing feedback to the engineering team;
- Preparing short, clear reports after each test describing conditions, parameters and results;
- Complying with safety and company standards during flights.
Required skills and experience:
- Experience in controlling FPV-copters and small FPV-planes;
- Ability to configure drones independently (controller, video system, link, Betaflight/iNav firmware);
- Understanding the principles of operation of FPV systems, controllers and telemetry;
- Basic knowledge in electronics, RC components or aircraft modeling;
- Attention, responsibility and ability to system thinking;
- Willingness to work in field conditions (testing grounds, test zones);
- Driver's license.
Would be an advantage:
- Experience with Ardupilit;
- FPV drone repair and assembly skills;
- Military experience using FPV or working in the mil-tech field.
