FPV developer / Head of R&D FPV drones in HiredwithLove

Our recruiting agency is helping a Ukrainian manufacturing and research company to form a team to launch a new FPV project.
We are looking for an engineer who thinks systems, has experience working with FPV or autonomous platforms and is committed to creating effective FPV drones with zero.

Main responsibilities

• development, assembly and testing of FPV drones — from idea to finished prototype;

• analysis of flight logs, PID and filter settings;

• selection of components (motors, ESC, propellers, batteries) for various application scenarios;

• optimization of frame design, balance and vibration isolation;

• work with ground-station (antennas, video systems, signal transmission);

• conducting flight tests, recording results and preparing technical recommendations.

Requirements for the candidate

• hands-on experience in FPV or autonomous control systems;

• understanding of electronics, soldering, calibration;

• knowledge of flight physics, blackbox data analysis;

• experience with Ardupilot, Betaflight, INAV or similar systems;

• interest in R&D direction and the desire to influence technical solutions.
