Mission Kharkiv is one of the largest medical charities in Ukraine in terms of the amount of aid provided. One of the key directions of our work is the systemic support of adult patients with oncological diseases.
Our organization since 2022 will implement large-scale programs for the supply of medicines, transportation and evacuation of patients, first aid, provision of hygiene kits, as well as providing psychosocial support to beneficiaries and strengthening the capacity of medical personnel.
Location: Kharkiv/Kyiv office, with business trips throughout Ukraine.
Job description:
We are looking for an experienced first aid trainer who specializes inproviding first aid. The candidate will conduct training courses for critical infrastructure workers, providing them with practical skills for effective emergency response.
Responsibilities:
stopping massive bleeding, airway control, etc.
Assessing listeners' skills and providing feedback.
Interaction with the team and project manager to plan and coordinate training.
Preparation of training materials, documentation and certification of participants.
Readiness for business trips to Ukraine for training at various locations.
Requirements:
Valid certificateETMC – Combat Medic Training or an equivalent course.
CertificateSTOP THE BLEED (American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma).
CertificateTactical Combat Casualty Care (NAEMT) or similar.
2. The presence of valid certificates from the list will be an advantage:
Management of the critical adult patient and advanced resuscitation measures in adults.
Management of the critical pediatric patient.
Management of the critically injured patient and disaster medicine.
Basic Life Support (BLS/ERC) (will be preferred).
Instructor Certificate (will be an advantage).
3. Practical experiencework with tourniquets and stop bleeding.
4. Knowledge of algorithms for critical patient conditions, sorting of victims at the scene.
5. Knowledge of trauma examination and assistance according to the MARCH+ PAWS algorithm.
6. High communication skills, the ability to teach groups of different levels of training.
Desired qualities:
Medical education or experience in emergency care.
Knowledge of safety rules and standards for work in critical infrastructure.
The ability to adapt training to the specifics of the work of critical infrastructure workers.
