Fire safety specialist in The Lutheran World Federation

WLF World Service is an internationally recognized humanitarian department of the Lutheran World Federation (WLF) dealing with development issues. Today, the VLF is a widely recognized international organization represented in more than 25 countries of the world. In response to the crisis in Ukraine, VLF Ukraine deployed humanitarian activities in Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions in such areas as housing reconstruction, winter preparation, school reconstruction, protection, including mental health and psychosocial support (PSPSP), as well as multi-purpose cash assistance . The activities of the VLF in Ukraine are aimed at supporting internally displaced persons and other affected communities in the Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions. The Foundation coordinates its activities and closely cooperates with the government of Ukraine, local authorities, member churches of the Foundation, members of the Anti-Trafficking Alliance, civil society organizations, UN agencies and other interested parties.

Separate unit "World Lutheran Federation in Ukraine" announces a competition for the position of: Fire safety specialist with part-time employment, on the conditions of ensuring the appropriate work schedule, on issues of ensuring the implementation of state norms and rules of fire protection and labor protection in the structural units of the Separate unit of the VLF . 

Requirements:

• Higher or secondary special technical education;
• Work experience of 2 years or more in the field of fire safety, occupational health and safety;
• Skills to systematize and plan your work;
• Knowledge of laws, regulatory documents regulating the work of fire safety, knowledge of current State Building Regulations;
• Confident PC user, statistics and reporting skills, ability to draw up evacuation plans;
• Practical experience in solving complex issues, successful experience in passing inspections related to fire safety and occupational health and safety at the enterprise;
• Communication, ability and desire to defend the interests of the company;
• Knowledge of the requirements of regulations on occupational safety, electrical safety, fire safety and civil protection, traffic rules, the ability to use means of collective and individual protection;
• Availability of valid occupational safety certificates will be an advantage.
• Availability of a valid ISO 45001 certificate will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of the English language at the level of A1 (basic)
