• Requirements regulating the activities of fire safety bodies;
• Techniques and equipment used during fire-rescue (emergency-rescue) works;
• Requirements of rules and instructions on fire prevention;
• Organization of fire-rescue (emergency-rescue) works;
• Be able to use primary means of fire-extinguishing;
• Requirements for operation of external and internal fire-fighting water supply; characteristics of fire-hazardous materials;
• Technology of extinguishing fires in premises of various purposes;
• Maintenance and operation of fire automatic installations;
• Fundamentals of labor legislation; rules and norms of labor protection, safety techniques, industrial sanitation, environmental protection.

Main duties:

• Organizes control over compliance with the requirements of state standards, norms and rules in the field of fire safety, which contribute to the occurrence and spread of fire, creating a threat to life in the event of a fire and human health, destruction or damage to property, as well as prevent the timely liquidation of fires and the rescue of people;
• Prevention of fires at the company's facilities, carrying out preventive, warning and explanatory work in the field of fire safety in accordance with the regulatory and legal acts of Ukraine;
• Providing proposals for the optimization and modernization of fire-fighting systems and means protection;
• Control over compliance by employees with fire safety rules;
• Organization of maintenance of primary fire extinguishing equipment;
• Maintenance of fire alarm systems and automatic fire extinguishing systems in working order;
• Preparation of necessary documentation for the organization of fire prevention measures at the enterprise;
• Conducting fire prevention briefings, exercises, trainings and other events;
• Organization of notification and evacuation of employees in the event of fires;
• Organization of liquidation of fires and other man-made emergencies andof a native nature on the territory of the enterprise;
• Interaction with the controlling bodies regarding the implementation of fire-fighting measures at the objects of the enterprise.
