Financier - budgeting and financial modeling consultant in Excel in Eigenmethod

Eigenmethod is looking for a specialist who can build a numerical financial model in Excel: from structure and logic to full filling of formulas, checking the correctness of calculations and quality design. The role involves working closely with budgeting methodologists, analysts and IT teams. 

Main Responsibilities

1. Development of financial and budget models in Microsoft Excel

- Construction of end-to-end Excel models (P&L, CF, BS, OPEX, CAPEX, production cost planning models, human resource planning models). 

- Formation of the structure of financial models, scenario modeling models,

setting relationships between sheets, unified logic of indicators in Excel. 

- Writing and testing all formulas in Excel. 

2. Verification and quality control of calculations

- Full revision of formulas: correctness, coherence, lack of duplication and errors. 

- Auditing of source data, testing scenarios, checking consistency of results. 

- Providing control that excludes discrepancies in numbers. 

3. Layout and design of Excel models

- Stylish and structural design: tables, visual blocks, conditional formatting, color palettes. 

- Creation of presentable budget forms according to the provided standards.  

- Preparation of templates for further use in methodology and automation. 

Necessary skills and experience (Hard Skills)

Proficiency in Excel:

Financial modeling: budgeting, forecasting, scenarios, driver models. 

Knowledge of finance and management accounting: P&L, CF, BS, budgeting principles. 

Reading and Interpreting Formulas in Power BI - Ability to read, understand, and validate calculation logic in Power BI to ensure alignment of Excel models with BI analytics. 

Ability to work with large amounts of data. 

Preferences 

- Experience in manufacturing or energy companies. 

- Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud / SAP S/4HANA / IT-Enterprise / Power BI. 

- Understanding the principles of calculation of the wage fund. 

- Professional certifications are welcome.
