Financial Director (Construction/Development)

A large construction company implementing large-scale residential projects is inviting a Financial Director to join the team, who will provide strategic financial management and control of capital investments.

Our projects are high-rise residential buildings and complex residential areas.

We we expect

The candidate should have:

• higher financial or economic education;

• work experience of 5-7 years in dev/build or general contracting companies;

• practice of building CAPEX/OPEX construction budgets projects;

• knowledge of the structure formation of the cost of 1 m?;

• experience interaction with investors, banks, auditors, contractors;

• understanding of IFRS principles (will be an advantage);

• expertise in tax and contractual regulation of the construction sector.

Key areas of responsibility

• Development and control of the financial strategy of the development business.

• Management of the full cycle of budgeting:

  • budgets of construction objects (CAPEX);

  • operating budgets (OPEX);

  • control and analysis of deviations.

• Building a cost structure of 1 m? and control of its optimization.

• Formation of a payment calendar, financing schedules of objects, management of cash gaps.

• Analysis of project profitability and risks, formation of financial development models.

• Control of contracts, pricing, cost of contract works and TMC.

• Organization of tax planning taking into account construction specifics.

• Interaction with banks, investors, auditors, state bodies.

• Management of the financial department, development of internal processes and teams.
