CFO / Financial Director

Gorgany is 5 areas of development (retail, B2B, own production - brand Turbat, social projects), more than 17 cool global outdoor brands and thousands of customers , who have already become friends for us.

We are constantly improving and strengthening the team. We are looking for people who are experts in their field and strive to make decisions that have an impact on the outcome of the entire team. 

We need a CFO with a focus on< span style="font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none"> building processes, business planning and analytics,which will become a reliable Financial Partner for founders and business leaders.

The main tasks of the role will be the consolidation and operational display of the company's work results, the analysis of financial results at various levels, the implementation of ERP, financial planning, the construction of scenarios, the allocation of resources, the calculation and evaluation of investment projects, and the creation of value with its recommendations.

Role:

  • Development of financial development strategy and planning of financial resources to achieve business goals;

  • Definition and implementation of the optimal financial and legal model of the company's work;

  • Calculation, assessment and analysis of investment projects, determination of their impact on the company's financial indicators and making informed decisions about their effectiveness;

  • Budgeting and determination of activity targets for the season by activity areas; control over the use of expenditure budgets and investment budgets;

  • Development and support of financial models that help predict and analyze various scenarios of the company's development;

  • Identifying potential financial risks and developing a strategy to manage them to ensure business sustainability;

  • Formation and formalization of management accounting and consolidation principles (PL, CF, BS);

  • Responsibility for the timeliness and correctness of the formation of management reporting, including control over the correctness and completeness of the display of income and expenses;

  • Analyzing financial results and providing recommendations for improving financial performance to heads of business areas;

  • Building management and financial accounting processes;

  • Implementation of a new ERP;

  • Attracting external financing: communication with banks, interaction and support, preparation of documents for obtaining financing;

  • Cooperation with heads of other departments to provide financial support and take financial aspects into account when making strategic decisions;

  • Ensuring financial operations in foreign economic activity and support of export-import contracts;

  • Team development and coordination of team efforts.

What is important for this role?

  • Experience of working as a financial director or head of one of the financial departments for at least 3 years in a system company;

  • Skills of building processes and business systematization;

  • Knowledge of accounting systems, data analysis and management skills;

  • Management reporting experience according to IFRS standards;

  • Experience in financial planning and analysis;

  • Mandatory knowledge of MS Excel ( Power Pivot, Power Query);

  • Understanding cause and effect relationships;

  • Team management experience.

Would be preferred: 

  • Proficiency in English at B1 level;

  • Experience in implementing accounting systems;

  • Professional certificates or qualifications.

About the team

Within the finance department, we have two teams - the operational accounting team (accounting, treasury functions, ETS) and the management accounting team (reporting, financial planning). The CFO role involves building and managing two teams, reporting to the CEO and interaction with all departments of the company.
